Virtual Class Information
D. Stafford and Associates is committed to providing you with the best Clery Act Compliance training. We have developed an online training that will allow us to be creative in delivering the content in a similar manner as the in-person class, and we are striving to create an interactive and engaging experience by leveraging some of the available technology. Upon completion of the class, you will have received the exact same content and material that you would have received in the in-person class and you will receive the exact same certification. You will also have ample opportunities to pose questions to the instructors as we are building in additional time for Q&A each day.
Individuals registering to attend the class must be employed by a college or university, unless approved in advance by D. Stafford & Associates. Individuals who are not employed by a college or university can send an email request to Dolores Stafford.
If the event system indicates that the class is full when you attempt to register for the class, you can request to be added to the “waiting list” for a specific class by sending an email to The DSA Team. If a registered attendee cancels or changes their class location, you will be contacted with an offer to attend in their place.
Training Materials
The training materials will be shipped to the address you provide via UPS. If you provide an incorrect or incomplete address, or an address at a campus that UPS cannot deliver to directly, DSA can’t be held responsible for delays in the arrival of the book. If these issues cause DSA to have to issue a replacement book, the attendee will be charged the cost of the replacement book and the shipping costs. If you foresee any issues with receiving the book via UPS at your campus, you should seriously consider having the book sent to your home address. There is a separate section in the registration form used for this purpose called “Mailing address where class materials should be sent” that will prompt you for the exact address to which your book should be mailed. To be clear, we will not use this address for any other purpose.
Dates/Times
May 6-10 and May 13-17, 2024
12:00 pm – 4:30 pm ET each day
Cost
The cost of this class is $895.00 per person.
Payment Options
We are currently not able to accept credit card payments, so all payments must be made in the form of a manual check.
Upon submission of the registration form on the next page, the system will automatically send the attendee a confirmation of class enrollment. The email will also provide a W-9 form to enable the attendee to pay the invoice. (Please note: If you register for a 2024 class in 2023, a confirmation email will be sent immediately, but an invoice will not be sent to until early December).
The registration system allows the attendee to register themselves, or the system will allow a person to complete the registration on the attendee’s behalf. The attendee (or the person registering on the attendee’s behalf) will have an option in the system to request that confirmation be emailed to someone other than the attendee, if desired. Payment instructions and an invoice will be sent to this person via email, as requested.
The invoice must be paid within 6 weeks of the invoice date, so we ask that the invoice be processed by the institution immediately upon receipt.
If you do not receive a confirmation email within 1 business day, you want to consolidate invoices, or you need additional paperwork to process payment, please send an email to The DSA Team for assistance. Please be sure to check your “junk mail” or “spam” folders prior to contacting us if you are missing the confirmation email.
